Overhead Door™ side-folding full closure grilles provide a secure barrier against theft and debris. They are ideal for malls and airport concourses. Choose from four panel materials: perforated steel, clear polycarbonate, tempered glass or aluminum. Each model is available in standard-body and wide-body configurations.

The model 675 is manufactured with painted perforated steel panels that allow 51% visibility of a 4-3/4” (121 mm) viewable area and full ventilation. This model is perfect for areas requiring security from theft and debris like malls, airports and concourses.

The model 677’s clear fire-retardant polycarbonate panels offer high impact resistance and 100% visibility of 4-3/4” (121 mm) viewable area.

The model 678 is made with tempered glass panels that provide a crystal-clear view of 100% of 4-3/4” (121 mm) viewable area. Malls, airports and concourses are ideal locations for these secure closures.

The model 679’s 7” standard-width solid aluminum panels slide into aluminum hinges to deliver maximum security with zero visibility. This model is made for environments requiring complete enclosure.

Side-Folding Open Air Security Grilles

Models 681/683

When security and visibility must go hand in hand, the side-folding open air security grilles (models 681 and 683) offer the perfect solution. Designed for maximum air circulation, light infiltration and visibility, these grilles are space-saving, visually appealing and built to deter unauthorized access and debris.

The model 681 features wide body 2″ (51 mm) high bottom plates of truss-like aluminum and 5 1/4″ (133 mm) high top plates that frame each 11 1/4″ (286 mm) wide panel. Each curtain panel is made with 1” (25 mm) aluminum plates spaced at horizontal intervals of 12” (305 mm) incorporating three vertical rods spaced at 1 7/8” (48 mm) and covered with aluminum tubes.

The model 683 consists of curtains that incorporate minimum 4” (133 mm) high bottom plates of truss like clear anodized aluminum and 5 ¼” (133 mm) high top plates that frame each 6 11/16” (170 mm) wide panel. Construction of each curtain panel consists of 1/8” (3 mm) x 5/8” (16 mm) by 6” (15 mm) horizontal clear anodized aluminum links that slide into 5/16” (8 mm) vertical rods. Half-inch (13 mm) clear anodized aluminum spacer tubes on alternate rods hold links in place. Only anodized finishes are available.
